Waterford River Rhythms 2013
1ST AND 3RD THURSDAYS, JUNE 6 - AUGUST 29
6:30PM to 9:00PM
Join us this summer for Waterford River Rhythms at Village Hall Park.
We will have seven shows, June thru August.
Our Mission is: "To continually provide an Upscale Event that will Enhance the Community."
TDS Telecom and Lauer Financial Services have once again been gracious enough to be WRR sponsors along with a grant received from the Racine Community Foundation. We have also added two new sponsors this year, The Cotton Exchange and Doc's on the Fox. Our shows would not be possible without their support. Please say thank you whenever you can.

June 20
- TORN SOUL
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
We're changing it up this year and bringing in the eight piece Torn Soul, which boasts a three piece female horn section! They love soul/ska/reggae-beat and R&B and come to us from Milwaukee. They have a Stax/Volt-influenced playlist. Torn Soul is made up of musicians from nostalgic bands such as Those XCleavers, Big Nick & The Cydecos and other eighty's groups. Will they even fit on our stage? Come check it out. more on Torn Soul
July 4 - Two Band Extravaganza
- GROUP THERAPY
Time: approx. 4:00pm
Food Vendor: Cafe 213
Group Therapy played River Rhythms a few years ago and we brought them back for this Fourth of July Party. This great three-piece blends the elements of soul, funk, reggae, R&B and guitar-heavy rock with the raw power and emotion of the blues. They've been winning over audiences and generally rocking the house since 1993! more on Group Therapy
- DAN TRUDELL AND THE RIVER RHYTHMS ALL STARS
Time: approx. 7:00pm
Food Vendor: Cafe 213
I couldn't come up with a better group name at the moment, but as you may already know, Dan Trudell is a very accomplished jazz keyboardist and especially known for his Hammond B3 skill set. He typically brings special guests to the Waterford stage every year. Quite often they are major artists from the Chicago Jazz scene. Well this year we will be adding National Artists to that list of Chicago Greats! Trust me, you will not believe it! More on the artists: Dan Trudell, Pat Mallinger, Bill Brickey, Mike Allemana, Gerald Dowd, Matt Ferguson, Clyde Stubblefield and Jeff Coffin
July 18
- FIBONACCI SEQUENCE
Opening act 6 - 6:30pm: The Borderline String Band (Bluegrass)
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
Admittedly we are stepping out of the box here a bit, but one of our goals is to introduce you to new music. Fibonacci Sequence is a progressive rock band, so if you like Dream Theater or Rush, you will love these guys. Even if you're not to fond of Prog Rock, you will still appreciate the extreme talent these guys possess, which is why we brought them in. You can check them out further at their web site, Facebook or on Reverb Nation. So, a little trivia for ya'... What is a Fibonacci Sequence?

- KASHMIR
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
I can't think of a better way to end this season than with a Led Zeppelin tribute band. Once again we're steppin' out of the box a bit, but wow! This Chicago based band has determined that Led Zeppelin should be played as it was, using only the equipment and clothing of the era, and should be reproduced "dead on" with great respect and admiration. Close your eyes, Led Zeppelin is in the house! more on Kashmir
TNT Sound
- TNT Sound will provide the professional touch in Sound and Lights again this season. Due to the larger crowds, Tedd has expanded his system for us this year. Tedd has been working in live audio for 30 years and attended Full Sail recording school ummm... way back in the day. He prefers the challenge of mixing live rather than in the studio setting. Tedd has worked with a long list of professional artists, including Mitch Ryder, Spider John Koerner, Phil Keaggy, Larry Norman, Tracy Grammar, Bill Staines, Mike Stone (of Queensryche), Rare Earth, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, Allison Brown, Greg Brown and many more. Village Hall Park has never sounded better... more on TNT Sound
