Waterford River Rhythms 2014
NOT NECESSARILY THE 1ST AND 3RD THURSDAYS, JUNE 5 - AUGUST 28
6:30PM to 9:00PM
Join us this summer for Season Eight of Waterford River Rhythms at Village Hall Park.
We will have seven shows, June thru August.
Our Mission is: "To continually provide an Upscale Event that will Enhance the Community."
TDS Telecom, Lauer Financial Services and The Cotton Exchange have once again been gracious enough to be WRR sponsors along with a grant received from the Runzheimer Foundation. Our shows would not be possible without their support. Please say thank you whenever possible.
June 5
- KASHMIR
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
I can't think of a better way to open this season than with the same band that closed last season, the Led Zeppelin tribute band, Kashmir. Back by popular demand due to last year's wow factor, Kashmir will do it again! This Chicago based band has determined that Led Zeppelin should be played as it was, using only the equipment and clothing of the era, and should be reproduced "dead on" with great respect and admiration. Close your eyes, cuz Led Zeppelin is in the house! more on Kashmir

The hometown boys are back once again to the Village Hall Park stage. They will get you dancin' and movin' and groovin'. Stop on out, it's sure to be a party!

- DAN TRUDELL AND THE RIVER RHYTHMS ALL STARS
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
I still didn't come up with a better group name, so we are gonna go with it again this year. As many of you know, Dan Trudell, accomplished jazz keyboardist, brings some very special guests to the Waterford stage every year. If you were at our July 4th show last year, then you recall Jeff Coffin (sax player, Dave Matthews Band) being there as well as some major jazz cats from Chicago. Well this year will be no different. The lineup will include: Pat Mallinger on saxophone, Mike Allemana on guitar, Gerald Dowd on drums, Matt Ferguson on bass, Victor Garcia on trumpet and world renowned jazz vocalist Cheryl Wilson. Cheryl has sung commercials for McDonald's and has performed with many top name artists in all genres. Yes, this will be a killer show !

- KING SOLOMON
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
King Solomon is finding their way back to Waterford. We had numerous requests for Milwaukee's hottest Reggae band so ya Mon, their back. King Solomon covers your favorites and has quite a play list of original grooves. Some of their influences include Bob Marley, Sean Paul, Buju Bonton, Steel Pulse, Big Mountain and Maxi Priest. C'mon out for a Carribean Party and make it a night of no worries mon... more on King Solomon

- ALEX WILSON BAND
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
Coming to us from the upper echelon of the Milwaukee Blues scene is four time WAMI Award Winner Alex Wilson. Out of bands from all over the world, Alex Wilson finished in the top 8 at the International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis, TN. Alex plays everything from sweet Beale Street blues to West coast swing. From hard Texas grinders to stone cold Chicago grooves with a feeling that's said to be timeless. He's bringin' it to Waterford... look out! more on Alex Wilson
August 14
- JACKIE BROWN
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
Fresh out of the studio, Jackie Brown comes back in support of her new singles, and an all original EP that hopefully gets released later this year. Look for some changes, additions and great new original material. This will be her eighth season of bringing the River Rhythms crowd to their feet! more on Jackie Brown
August 28
- GROUP THERAPY - HOI POLLOI
Food Vendor: Cotton Exchange
We'll be starting a bit earlier in order to bring you this double header in celebration of the last show of the season. We'll kick things off with Group Therapy. No strangers to River Rhythms as they were here last year. This great three-piece blues band brings elements of soul, funk, reggae, R&B and guitar-heavy rock. A great compliment to the next act, Hoi Polloi. This high energy Rock / Reggae band has been here before also and will be a great closing act for the season finale! more on Group Therapy - more on Hoi Polloi

TNT Sound
- TNT Sound will provide the professional touch in Sound and Lights again this season. Due to the larger crowds, Tedd has expanded his system for us once again. Tedd has been working in live audio for 30 years and attended Full Sail recording school ummm... well, way back in the day. He prefers the challenge of mixing live rather than in the studio setting. Tedd has worked with a long list of professional artists, including Mitch Ryder, Spider John Koerner, Phil Keaggy, Larry Norman, Tracy Grammar, Bill Staines, Mike Stone (of Queensryche), Rare Earth, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, Allison Brown, Greg Brown and many more. Village Hall Park has never sounded or looked better... more on TNT Sound
