SELECT THURSDAYS, JUNE 2 - JULY 28
6:30PM to 9:00PM
Join us this summer for Season Ten of Waterford River Rhythms at Village Hall Park.
Due to road construction this summer on Racine, North and River Streets, we will not be able to do any shows in August, as Village Hall Park will not be accessible. We will have five shows though, June thru July.
Our Mission is: "To continually provide an Upscale Event that will Enhance the Community."
TDS Telecom, Lauer Financial Services, The Cotton Exchange and Fox Valley Veterinary Clinic have once again been gracious enough to be WRR sponsors along with a grant received from the Runzheimer Foundation. We would also like to welcome to the River Rhythms family our newest sponsor, Weber Accounting. Our shows would not be possible without their support. Please say thank you whenever possible.
It's been a few years since Reverend Raven brought his Chicago style Blues to the park, so it was time to bring him back. The Rev will be kickin' it on our opening night and rumor has it he'll be bringing Westside Andy, probably one of the best blues harmonica players in the state. This will be the only blues band this season, so bring your two tones because the grass will be cut. more on Reverend Raven
Back by popular demand, Cold Sweat and the Brew City Horns will hit the Waterford stage once again this season. Wisconsin's premier 8 piece show band will definitely get your attention. Cold Sweat's energy, talent and non-stop fun will infect you until you can't help but join in. All of the individual talent in this band has opened for, performed or recorded with national artists. You will definitely want to check out the encore performance of the renowned Brew City Horns. more on Cold Sweat and the Brew City Horns
Employing jazz harmonic sensibility and a deep-seated love of diverse cultures, De La Buena explores the textures and rhythms of Latin music of the Americas with roots planted firmly in African Diasporic traditions. De La Buena has been electrifying audiences with their own brand of Afro-Cuban and Latin Jazz. They are ever conscious of the influence and necessary respect for tradition, yet a band willing to inject sophisticated, psychedelic sensibilities into an aggressive, expansive framework. So there... GYSOT! more on De La Buena
Making Nerdism cool again, the local favs are back. Bring your broken glasses and bow ties cuz you'll fit right in. Come on out and shake that booty, it's Thursday night in Waterford and Jamie is going to show you how to dance. It's a guaranteed good time in the park! more on Lunch Money Bullies
The Jackie Brown Band will be bringing a new guitar player and a new drummer, so look for some high energy rock and country rock. They will be playing more new material this year, so we anticipate JBB having everyone on their feet once again. This will be their tenth appearance at River Rhythms and is typically the largest show of the season. Oh, and keep on the look out for Jackie's Jemz... You will definitely want to get here early. more on the Jackie Brown Band
TNT Sound will provide the professional touch in Sound and Lights again this season. Due to the larger crowds, Tedd has expanded his system once again for us and added very cool digital lighting. Tedd has been working in live audio for 30 years and attended Full Sail recording school. He prefers the challenge of mixing live rather than the studio setting. Tedd has worked with a long list of professional artists, including Mitch Ryder, Spider John Koerner, Phil Keaggy, Larry Norman, Tracy Grammar, Bill Staines, Mike Stone (of Queensryche), Rare Earth, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, Allison Brown, Greg Brown and many more. Village Hall Park has never sounded this good or looked this great ! more on TNT Sound
In 2009 the Village of Waterford had a stage built for River Rhythms which eliminated our hefty stage rental fees. We had a say in the design process with criteria being a natural look that would blend into the park. With the awareness that this event brought to the park, numerous non-profits now utilize the park and the stage.
The original stage was 17ft wide x 13ft deep with a natural turf ramp, steps in the back and steps on the left side. For the 2015 season, the stage was expanded to 30ft wide x 20ft deep to accommodate the bigger bands and larger shows.
Ample street parking is available through out the immediate area. You may find yourself walking a couple of blocks, but it's worth it! There is also a municipal parking lot right next door to the fire / police building. It's right across the river from the park, just a short walk across the bridge.
Village Hall Park is very close to our neighbors, so we appreciate your consideration for them. We very much want everyone to enjoy us being there, because it truly is the perfect place to be.
