Gabriel Sanchez Presents THE PRINCE EXPERIENCE
Gabriel Sanchez Presents THE PRINCE EXPERIENCE

Gabriel Sanchez returns to start off the 2023 season with The Prince Experience! We believe last year's show was our largest crowd to date, so what better way to open Season 17. It will be a night of unbelievable entertainment, that keeps anyone who has seen it, talking about it long after the last encore is played.

Gabriel Sanchez and THE PRINCE EXPERIENCE is considered the country's most dynamic Prince Tribute Band. Playing all of the greatest hits from the Purple One himself, THE PRINCE EXPERIENCE has been packing dance floors and setting stages on fire for over ten years. more on The Prince Experience

ERIN COBURN
Erin Coburn

We are so excited to bring this guitar phenom to the Village Park stage. If you like Anthony Gomes, Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, Stevie Ray, Gary Clark Jr. and the White Stripes, well... she's all that rolled into one!

Erin refers to herself as the perpetual misfit from Cinci and is known for her prolific songwriting. Her relatable lyrics and soul gripping vocals are a striking compliment to her scorching guitar solos. Erin always delivers a mostly original, unforgettable, high energy performance that leaves people wanting more. As Erin always says, "expect the unexpected!"

Erin is quickly making waves on the national scene and attracting the interest of some major players in the industry - including endorsements by Strandberg Guitars and BadCat Amplifiers.

Fair warning! If you get to close to the stage, you're gonna melt! more on Erin

HILLBILLY CASINO
Hillbilly Casino

This is the finest in Rockabilly that I have ever seen! Direct from Nashville, Hillbilly Casino blends elements of honkytonk, rockabilly, psychobilly and straight up rock & roll. Every member of Hillbilly Casino brings their own special flavor to the band, from Nic's background in hip hop and rockabilly, to Geoff's love of old school punk rock and ska. I am not sure I have ever seen this much energy on stage as these boys bring it. And you should bring your dancin' shoes, cuz you won't be sittin' still!

These guys have performed with Brian Setzer Orchestra, Rev. Horton Heat, Doyle Bramhall, Rancid, Los Straightjackets, Southern Culture on the Skids, Legendary Shack Shakers, The Horrorpops, The Blasters, The Supersuckers, 7 Shot Screamers, Koffin Kats, Flatfoot 56, Lonesome Spurs and Three Blue Teardrops. DRIVING MISS CRAZY
Driving Miss Crazy (DMC)

Ms. Jackie Brown returns to Village Hall Park this season, with a little different configuration. Her new project, Driving Miss Crazy (DMC), brings with it a little heavier rock vibe.

This new group gives Jackie some freedom from her acoustic guitar which puts her vocals front and center. For as awesome as Jackie's vocals have been in the past, this focus takes her voice to yet another level.

You will hear the difference, You will feel the heightened passion in her presence and You will agree with me that Jackie has found her niche, that she is coming into her own. This is another level of Jackie Brown.

Jackie is surrounded by talent, with KK on bass (Black Frog), Neddi on guitar (Doc Hammer) and the amazing Barry on the kit. more on Jackie Brown & DMC on Facebook

August 18 (Friday) a kick-off to Waterford Jam Fest
SNEEZY
Sneezy

On this special River Rhythm's Friday performance, Sneezy is coming back to give you guys another dose of Funk, Soul, R&B and Jam, directly from Chicago. Sneezy is a long running, fun-loving jam band at heart, but they're pushing it a little more towards R&B now.

Their sound fuses the genres of pop, reggae, hip hop and rock, and has a natural, summery, sunshine feel to every track. Their neo-soul undertone provides a little something extra to their music and creates an infectious, addicting rhythm that you'll be glad to have stuck in your head. - Jukely Live Music Blog

These guys recently signed with Color Red Music out of Denver and are working with multi-Grammy winning producer/engineer "Bassy" Bob Brockmann (TLC, Mary J Blige, Bob Dylan, etc). more on Sneezy, & Sneezy on Facebook

ANTHONY GOMES
Anthony Gomes

I cannot think of a better way to close out Season 17 than the return of Anthony Gomes. It has been five years since he was here. In case you lost track, this is what's been going on:

His latest album High Voltage Blues (2022) debuts at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. This is Anthony's 8th consecutive album to crack the Billboard Top Ten and his third #1.

High Voltage Blues (2022) hits #1 on iTunes Blues Chart and Amazon's New Release Blues Chart.

"Gomes is a power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock. After all, it's the electric guitar; sometimes tickling it is not enough." - Guitar World

If you enjoy Blues / Blues Rock, then this is the show! more on Anthony Gomes

Park Setup
OUR STAGE
Waterford River Rhythms stage with new Band Shell Tent

In 2009 the Village of Waterford had a stage built for River Rhythms which eliminated our hefty stage rental fees. We had a say in the design process with criteria being a natural look that would blend into the park. With the awareness that this event brought to the park, numerous non-profits now utilize the park and the stage.

The original stage was 17ft wide x 13ft deep with a natural turf ramp, steps in the back and steps on the left side. For the 2015 season, the stage was expanded to 30ft wide x 20ft deep to accommodate the larger bands and bigger shows.

In 2019 the Village assisted us in getting a Band Shell Tent cover for the stage. It is a beautiful thing!
